Dyslexia therapy is implemented by a Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Therapist (C-SLD). A C-SLD goes through a 24 month training process aligned with the International Dyslexia Association's (IDA) standards. A Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Therapist (C-SLD) develops and masters the application of structured literacy in order to transform dyslexic learners and off-track learners. A C-SLDT is able to recognize the markers of dyslexia, reach dyslexic learners and transform their literacy and future using an Orton-Gillingham method, such as Connections OG in 3D.
Both Connie and Jodi are in their second year of the APPLE Group Certified Dyslexia Therapist program and plan to complete these requirements in the Spring/Summer of 2024. Connie and Jodi completed their inititial training in Connections OG in 3D in 2020.
