Connie obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Pennsylvania State University in 1993, and her Master's Degree in Special Education from Duquesne University in 1996. Connie also holds a Principal K-12 certification through the University of Pittsburgh.
Connie joined the APPLE Group as a Connections trained teacher in 2021. Connie currently uses Connection O-G in 3D in an elementary learning support setting, as well as in private therapy. Connie will finish her second year of the Dyslexia Therapy Program with The APPLE Group in the summer of 2024.
Connie has experience both in the regular education and special education setting, and has serviced students with specific learning disabilities, as well as students with dyslexia, for the past 28 years. Connie is passionate about teaching children to read, and believes the Connections O-G in 3D program is the most comprehensive and well-rounded program for students with dyslexia.
Jodi obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary/Special Education from Slippery Rock University in 1997, her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from John's Hopkins University in 2001, and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Special Education from Slippery Rock University.
Jodi joined The APPLE Group as a Connections trained teacher in 2020, using the Connections O-G in 3D in an elementary learning support setting. Jodi is currently in her second year of the Dyslexia Therapist Program with The APPLE Group and plans to seek her KPERI certification in the Summer 2024.
As a special education teacher for 26 years, Jodi has worked with students with a specifiic learning disability and students with dyslexia in a public school setting. As the parent of a child with dyslexia, Jodi is dedicated to learning more about the dyslexic brain in order to help families navigate the road that lies ahead.
